Lac La Biche September 7

President Ken with support from the amazing Rotarians in this growing and energetic club in Lac La Biche are finalizing plans and budget ($225,000) for building the new Rotary Gazebo. This should be completed by November. What a wonderful project for this community and milestome for this club which was chartered in 2006. We look forward to the opening...

The club is famous for it's annual wine tasting event to be held November 6th and the cookbook with recipes of goodies served for attendees. They help out with Pond Hockey and Festival of Speed in March...and more!

In addition, the club is collecting soccer equipment to be sent to Mexico. Please contact Sue Ward if you can help out here.

I was delighted to present Brydon Ward with the club's first Paul Harris Fellowship as well, we welcomed him to the Paul Harris Society. ($1,000 donation yearly to The Rotary Foundation) Thank you Brydon and Sue.

Past President Shirley Klyne is to be commended for her success in growing the membership in LLB. Well done Shirley...we welcome SHirley as a member of our district Services Team.
